I shot my first photo wedding in 2016, filmed my first wedding in 2018, and in 2021 Jess officially joined me behind the camera. The rest is history. Together we built Nightfox Films, a Rochester based duo of 90s kids with a love for Super 8, camcorders, and modern 4K. I’m the techy one obsessed with editing and mixed media storytelling, while Jess brings a delicate and intuitive eye, and we both share the same passion for capturing real moments in full no matter the camera in our hands.

What makes us different is how we bring formats together. Super 8, VHS, with Modern Digital 4K. Not every film uses them all, but when we mix them the story becomes something no single format could do on its own. Anyone can shoot on a camera, but no one puts mixed media together like we do. Now just to talk Jess into letting me get my hands on a nice Bolex 16mm.
